Jeunes Démocrates is the youth wing of Nouveaux Démocrates, uniting young Mauritians across the country who are ready to shape the future with fresh ideas, bold thinking, and a deep sense of civic responsibility.

We believe that youth is not just a phase of life – it is a force for change. In a world of rapid transformation, Mauritius needs leadership that is modern, grounded, and connected to the real challenges of this generation.

As part of our DEM2030 vision, Jeunes Démocrates provides a platform for:

• Active political participation – encouraging young people to engage with institutions, local issues, and national debates

• Civic education and training – building understanding of democratic values, public service, and political literacy

• Climate awareness and sustainable development – empowering youth to be leaders in ecological transition

• Innovation and creative thinking – promoting forward-looking solutions in technology, entrepreneurship, and public reform

• Inclusive leadership – ensuring all youth voices are heard, including students, workers, self-employed, artists, and young professionals
