Dear fellow Mauritians,

It is a privilege to serve the people of Vacoas-Phoenix and to lead Nouveaux Démocrates at a time when our country is ready for renewal – not through conflict, but through collaboration and constructive leadership.

Mauritius stands at an important juncture. The challenges we face – climate change, economic transition, generational shifts, and global uncertainty – require more than slogans. They require unity of purpose, clarity of values, and the courage to modernise responsibly.

Nouveaux Démocrates is a movement founded on Democracy, Ecology, and Meritocracy – three values we believe are essential to the future of this nation. These are not abstract ideas; they translate into real actions: ensuring fair governance, protecting our environment, and expanding access to opportunity.

As a parliamentarian and barrister, I am deeply aware of the importance of strong institutions and respectful debate. Politics must serve the public, not divide it. Our goal is to bring a calm, honest, and professional voice to the national conversation – a voice that listens before it speaks, and delivers before it promises.

The future we seek is one where:
